1. General Overview
By purchasing a ticket or entering the Afro-Naija Food Festival (the “Event”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Event is organized by [Insert Company/Organiser Name].
2. Admission & Ticketing
-
A valid ticket must be presented at the gate (digital or printed).
-
VIP Tickets: Grant access to designated fast-track lanes and VIP areas.
-
17 Under Tickets: Holders must be accompanied by a paying adult (18+) at all times.
-
We reserve the right to refuse admission for behavior deemed inappropriate or for breach of event rules.
3. Strict No-Refund Policy
-
Non-Attendance: If you are unable to attend the event for any reason (including health, travel delays, or personal emergencies), no refunds will be issued. Tickets are considered “used” once the event date has passed.
-
Ticket Transfers: While refunds are not permitted, you may transfer your ticket to another person. Please notify us at least 48 hours before the event to update the attendee name.
4. Event Capacity & Space (Crucial Clause)
We aim to provide a safe and comfortable environment. However:
-
In the unlikely event that a venue safety officer or local authority deems the space “at capacity” and restricts further entry for safety reasons, your entry may be delayed.
-
Refund Advice on Space: If we are forced to deny you entry entirely due to overcapacity (and not due to your late arrival or behavior), you may be entitled to a partial or full refund under UK statutory rights. We will evaluate these on a case-by-case basis.
5. Health & Safety (Allergies)
-
The Afro-Naija Food Festival celebrates diverse cuisines. Many dishes may contain nuts, gluten, dairy, or shellfish.
-
While we mandate that vendors display allergen information, the Organisers are not responsible for individual adverse reactions. Attendees must consult vendors directly regarding ingredients.
6. Photography & Filming
By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be featured, please notify the official event photographer on the day.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Organisers are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to personal property, except where such loss is caused by our direct negligence as defined by UK law.
